Futbol Capuchinho Fratelo's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Diego Cruz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. 24 minutes into the match, FDS CLUB's goal looked a bit too open when Yan Mattos came free, but Wanderson Reis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 28 played minutes Futbol Capuchinho Fratelo got a freekick which was hit by Antônio Carlos Vieira. Clemente Goiano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jeferson Peres in the 30th minute of play. Leonardo Recife received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Clemente Goiano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Túlio Correia succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-2 in the 39th playminute. Wanderson Reis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yan Mattos in the 46th minute of the match. In the 47th minute Leonardo Recife shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Clemente Goiano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Leonardo Recife made a kick off. 59 minutes into the match, Futbol Capuchinho Fratelo's Nelson Moreno sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Wanderson Reis narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 65 played minutes Futbol Capuchinho Fratelo got a freekick which was hit by Gino Silva. If Yan Mattos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Futbol Capuchinho Fratelo's Túlio Correia got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Clemente Goiano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leonardo Recife, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. Yan Mattos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wanderson Reis having to interfere. FDS CLUB were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Futbol Capuchinho Fratelo's much stronger midfield.
