The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd play minute Patrick Domingues came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Rômulo Paulista. 1-0. After 16 played minutes FlinstonLusa EC got a freekick which was hit by Caio Xavier. Nicolas Ribeiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edvaldo Pinheiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 23 minutes into the match, C.A. Só o Pó F.C.'s goalkeeper Rômulo Paulista had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Patrick Domingues. Rômulo Paulista took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amadeu Aguiar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 33 minutes into the game, Patrick Domingues cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Rômulo Paulista was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 44 minutes FlinstonLusa EC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Ronaldão Ramalho who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Ronaldão Ramalho got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Nicolas Ribeiro quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Edvaldo Pinheiro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edvaldo Pinheiro in the 48th minute of play forced FlinstonLusa EC's goalkeeper Nicolas Ribeiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Amadeu Aguiar to strike the kick off in the second half. When Perivaldo de Almeida fell near the penalty area in the 60th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored C.A. Só o Pó F.C.'s protests and gave Perivaldo de Almeida a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of FlinstonLusa EC booed when C.A. Só o Pó F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Perivaldo de Almeida didn't get a good kick on the ball. Patrick Domingues's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rômulo Paulista read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 61st minute of play. Patrick Domingues sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. FlinstonLusa EC's Amadeu Aguiar got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Patrick Domingues had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The FlinstonLusa EC fans' excitement grew in the 70th match minute when FlinstonLusa EC's Amadeu Aguiar looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. An unexpectedly hard shot by Patrick Domingues in the 76th minute of play forced C.A. Só o Pó F.C.'s goalkeeper Rômulo Paulista to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 78 minutes, André Luís Pitta managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. C.A. Só o Pó F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but André Luís Pitta was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Edvaldo Pinheiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 82nd minute Amadeu Aguiar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rômulo Paulista saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Amadeu Aguiar managed to get in a good position for a shot. FlinstonLusa EC's supporters rose to their feet, but Amadeu Aguiar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rômulo Paulista breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Tomé Amaral's late challenge caught a C.A. Só o Pó F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tomé Amaral helped the player get up and apologised. Tomé Amaral hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. 92 minutes into the match, FlinstonLusa EC's goalkeeper Nicolas Ribeiro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Edvaldo Pinheiro. Through an outstanding action, after 94 minutes, Nicolas Ribeiro successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 96th minute Amadeu Aguiar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rômulo Paulista saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
