The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Nicolas Ribeiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fabrício Terra in the 3rd minute of the match. Percy Vidal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amadeu Aguiar in the 8th minute of play. In the 9th minute, Amadeu Aguiar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 11 minutes into the match, Jardel Neiva notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of FlinstonLusa EC's Nicolas Ribeiro. Nicolas Ribeiro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Claudinho de Godoi kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. Patrick Domingues recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by José Paulo Marques during the 17th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 17 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for FLAMONT FC.! After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Fabrício Terra managed to get in a good position for a shot. FLAMONT FC.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Fabrício Terra was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nicolas Ribeiro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Fabrício Terra kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 29th minute of the game. One of FlinstonLusa EC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of FLAMONT FC.:s goal. In the 31st minute there was a penalty for FLAMONT FC.. José Paulo Marques stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Nicolas Ribeiro. 1-2. Nicolas Ribeiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabrício Terra in the 34th minute of play. Percy Vidal made an important save on a dangerous shot by Patrick Domingues in the 38th minute. An unexpected shot in the 40th minute by Amadeu Aguiar got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. 46 minutes into the match, FLAMONT FC.'s goalkeeper Percy Vidal had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Carlos Valle. When Claudinho de Godoi was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 46 minutes had been played. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

53 minutes into the match, FlinstonLusa EC's goalkeeper Nicolas Ribeiro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fabrício Terra. When Patrick Domingues came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the FlinstonLusa EC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Patrick Domingues couldn't finish the play. After some careless play in the FLAMONT FC. defense, Amadeu Aguiar kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Percy Vidal. The FLAMONT FC. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Percy Vidal should have stopped the shot. 61 minutes into the game, Caio Xavier was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FlinstonLusa EC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FLAMONT FC. the free kick. After 61 played minutes FlinstonLusa EC got a freekick which was hit by Caio Xavier. Carlos Valle sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 68th minute of the match Rui Esteves shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Percy Vidal showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When Patrick Domingues came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the FlinstonLusa EC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Patrick Domingues couldn't finish the play. The supporters of FlinstonLusa EC booed when FLAMONT FC. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. José Paulo Marques didn't get a good kick on the ball. Percy Vidal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Patrick Domingues in the 77th minute of the match. In the 78th minute, Breno Arantes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in FLAMONT FC.'s zone, Amadeu Aguiar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Percy Vidal came out of the goal and Amadeu Aguiar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. FlinstonLusa EC's Amadeu Aguiar got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Amadeu Aguiar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fabrício Terra hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. In the 94th minute, Patrick Domingues got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Percy Vidal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amadeu Aguiar, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute. FlinstonLusa EC were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing FLAMONT FC. to leave the ground with a draw.
