Gancho Choroleev could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Nuno Matos made a huge save. Albert Shatov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcus Souza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Yavor Lisichkov struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Nuno Matos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bulgaria.

Marcus Souza could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Albert Shatov made a huge save. Tiaguinho Matorin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Albert Shatov made a huge save. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Brazil made a substitution. Agnaldo Lago replaced Marcus Souza. In the 77th minute, Agnaldo Lago made a precise shot to the right of Albert Shatov. Bulgaria's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. 82 minutes into the game, Bulgaria's Yavor Lisichkov nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Nuno Matos made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Brazil's Ferdinánd Guerreiro managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Belcho Vaysilov in the 84 minute of the game. Bulgaria were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Brazil for a fine match.
