With his leg Sebastian Hellkvist managed to avoid a goal in the 12thth minute, when Barcellos Mineiro FC's Celsinho Corrêa fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 16th minute, Barcellos Mineiro FC's Dale Dolar dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. Jakub Ziombkowski struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Vânderson Saa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Inter de Guayaquil FC. After 20 played minutes Inter de Guayaquil FC got a freekick which was hit by Salvador Musacchio. In the 27th minute Jakub Ziombkowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vânderson Saa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The corner ended in Ramon Alaejos almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Barcellos Mineiro FC's Vânderson Saa did a great save. In the 30th minute Jakub Ziombkowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vânderson Saa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jörn Svartengren couldn't finish the play. After 72 played minutes Barcellos Mineiro FC got a freekick which was hit by Boyd Kaufman. 73 minutes into the match, Barcellos Mineiro FC's goalkeeper Vânderson Saa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jörn Svartengren. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Jorge Carrascal managed to get in a good position for a shot. Barcellos Mineiro FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Jorge Carrascal was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sebastian Hellkvist breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Barcellos Mineiro FC's Vânderson Saa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 82nd minute of the match, managed to save Barcellos Mineiro FC from getting a goal against them. Jörn Svartengren could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 84th minute of the match, but Vânderson Saa made a huge save. Sebastian Hellkvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jorge Carrascal, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute.
