Zaher Baroun made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nereo Sesuldo in the 2nd minute of play. After 3 played minutes Club Atlético Burzaco got a freekick which was hit by Hermengildo Firman. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fausto Arnau during the 6th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 12th minute of the match, Rashed Al Hadhod tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Amador Iztal saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Club Atlético Burzaco's Amador Iztal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rashed Al Hadhod in the 14th minute of play. Zaher Baroun stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nereo Sesuldo's shot from short distance in the 16th minute. 22 minutes into the match, Fausto Arnau had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Zaher Baroun. Saudi Arabia's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fausto Arnau was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. The audience was convinced that Nereo Sesuldo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Zaher Baroun was relentless in the 25th minute of the game. Zaher Baroun showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fausto Arnau in the 27th minute of the match. 28 minutes into the match, Saudi Arabia's Taqi Taqi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Amador Iztal narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 30 minutes Club Atlético Burzaco's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Edrees Al Youha who took care of the corner kick. Zaher Baroun made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fausto Arnau in the 31st minute of play. The audience was convinced that Fausto Arnau's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Zaher Baroun was relentless in the 32nd minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fausto Arnau in the 32nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Zaher Baroun prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Amador Iztal came out of the goal in the 36th minute to try and stop a shot by Saudi Arabia's Taqi Taqi. But to his dismay, Taqi Taqi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Amador Iztal made a fantastic save in the 39th minute, when Taqi Taqi sent off a good shot on target. Zaher Baroun stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fausto Arnau's shot from short distance in the 40th minute. With 44 minutes on the clock, Andres Teofilio commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After recieving a nice pass, Saudi Arabia's Edrees Al Youha tried to score from far away in the 46th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Segundo Berdoi to make the kick off. 1-2 became the score in the 55th minute when Nereo Sesuldo elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. 59 minutes into the match, Saudi Arabia's goal looked a bit too open when Nereo Sesuldo came free, but Zaher Baroun reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 67 minutes into the match, Club Atlético Burzaco's goal looked a bit too open when Rashed Al Hadhod came free, but Amador Iztal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zaher Baroun showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nereo Sesuldo in the 68th minute of the match. Amador Iztal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Taqi Taqi in the 71st minute of play. In the 72nd minute, Orlando Stanislao hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rashed Al Hadhod scored 2-2 in the 73rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Amador Iztal, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After some careless play in the Club Atlético Burzaco defense, Jarah Al Ammar kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Amador Iztal. The Club Atlético Burzaco fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Amador Iztal should have stopped the shot. 81 minutes into the match, Jarah Al Ammar notched a goal, 4-2, to the right of Club Atlético Burzaco's Amador Iztal. Amador Iztal was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Amador Iztal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rajab Al Sohali, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Zaher Baroun showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nereo Sesuldo in the 90th minute of the match. In the 95th match minute, Saudi Arabia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Taqi Taqi to maneuver through the defense. 97 minutes had been played when some careless play by Saudi Arabia's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Fausto Arnau was slow to take the kick. During this time Club Atlético Burzaco's players had a chance to rest. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Saudi Arabia fully deserved thier win.
