Academia 1903's Hélio Mangueira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Celsinho Corrêa in the 12th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dale Dolar got free with Hélio Mangueira in the 13th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Dale Dolar who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 17thth minute tested the skills of Hélio Mangueira when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 22nd match minute, Barcellos Mineiro FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tang Yang Le to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 42 minutes, Jeremias Ezkerra managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Academia 1903's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jeremias Ezkerra was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
