After a rather tough play, United FC's Matthew Vall got a free kick in the 3rd minute. Balesio Leiva hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in United FC's zone, Friedrich Nietzsche stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cisco Rubial came out of the goal and Friedrich Nietzsche tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 7 played minutes, Real Marabino's Arixo Aponte shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Cisco Rubial came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Real Marabino reached it. After a rather tough play, Real Marabino's Arnas Gobeo got a free kick in the 11th minute. Matthew Vall sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Alberto Alda's late challenge caught a Real Marabino's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alberto Alda helped the player get up and apologised. In the 21st match minute, United FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alberto Alda to maneuver through the defense. After 26 minutes, Aristides Belandia mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the United FC and the Real Marabino players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 27 minutes of play, Real Marabino's Gero Santos made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cisco Rubial was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 33rd minute, Immanuel Kant hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 35 minutes into the match, Real Marabino's goal looked a bit too open when Egun Galan came free, but Orlanda Aguiriano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of United FC booed when Real Marabino was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Immanuel Kant didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 44 played minutes, United FC's Hondo Beneit shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Orlanda Aguiriano came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in United FC reached it. In the 46th minute the ball was on its way in behind Real Marabino's goalkeeper Orlanda Aguiriano, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 46 played minutes Real Marabino got a freekick which was hit by Gero Santos.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Friedrich Nietzsche made a kick off. In the 55th minute, Gilen Martioda made a precise shot to the right of Orlanda Aguiriano. Real Marabino's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Gilen Martioda managed to get in a good position for a shot. United FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Gilen Martioda was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Orlanda Aguiriano breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Orlanda Aguiriano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Egun Galan in the 62nd minute of the match. 67 minutes into the match, Real Marabino's goal looked a bit too open when Egun Galan came free, but Orlanda Aguiriano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Orlanda Aguiriano came out of the goal in the 68th minute to try and stop a shot by United FC's Gilen Martioda. But to his dismay, Gilen Martioda quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Real Marabino made a substitution. Gau Cortinas replaced Friedrich Nietzsche. Gau Cortinas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Cisco Rubial having to make a save. After some careless play in the Real Marabino defense, Gilen Martioda kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Orlanda Aguiriano. The Real Marabino fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Orlanda Aguiriano should have stopped the shot. In the 81st minute Egun Galan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Orlanda Aguiriano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gilen Martioda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Orlanda Aguiriano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Egun Galan, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. A hard shot by Arixo Aponte from long distance, 91 minutes into the match, got Cisco Rubial's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. After some careless play in the United FC defense, Gau Cortinas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cisco Rubial. The United FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cisco Rubial should have stopped the shot. For all the effort they put into the match, the Real Marabino players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for United FC.
