Fiori Vianna hit a great ball. Váldson Palmeira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luiz Alagoano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luís Fabiano Capixaba in the 18th minute of the match. Luiz Alagoano came out of the goal in the 21st minute to try and stop a shot by Alasca's Severino Cabral. But to his dismay, Severino Cabral quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After 27 minutes, Jeferson Coutinho mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tchau MZ and the Alasca players grew even worse after the yellow card. Luiz Alagoano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Severino Cabral in the 30th minute of play. Tchau MZ's Luiz Alagoano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Severino Cabral in the 37th minute of play. The supporters of Tchau MZ booed when Alasca was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Claudinho Félix didn't get a good kick on the ball. Wilson Prado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rubens Neves having to interfere.

After having played for 53 minutes, Váldson Palmeira managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tchau MZ's supporters crossed their fingers, but Váldson Palmeira was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Váldson Palmeira scored 1-1 in the 55th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rubens Neves, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Váldson Palmeira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rubens Neves having to interfere. Severino Cabral kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. Alasca's Fiori Vianna got his second yellow card of the match in the 62nd minute. Cláudio Sabóia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rubens Neves having to interfere. After 68 played minutes Alasca got a freekick which was hit by Severino Cabral. In the 78th minute Váldson Palmeira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rubens Neves saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Váldson Palmeira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rubens Neves having to interfere. Rubens Neves took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Váldson Palmeira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 86 minutes into the match, Tchau MZ's goalkeeper Luiz Alagoano had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Claudinho Félix. 90 minutes into the match, Alasca's goal looked a bit too open when Váldson Palmeira came free, but Rubens Neves reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Claudinho Félix was extremely unlucky when he, in the 93rd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Tchau MZ were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Alasca to leave the ground with a draw.
