Cacá Abraão hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Amadeu Paes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Zé Paulo Munhoz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Flayer de Munich's Nando Batista proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to save Flayer de Munich from getting a goal against them. In the 42nd minute, Cacá Abraão hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 44 minutes into the game, Igor Arce was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FENÔMENO FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Flayer de Munich the free kick. A collision led to FENÔMENO FC getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Igor Arce hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luisinho Recife in the 45th minute of play forced FENÔMENO FC's goalkeeper Zé Paulo Munhoz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Luís Gustavo Ramos to strike the kick off in the second half. After 53 minutes Flayer de Munich's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Lucas da Fonseca who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on FENÔMENO FC's corner Lucas da Fonseca fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Nando Batista quite easily take care of the ball. A sloppy throw-in by Sidnei Pernambucano in the 56th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Flayer de Munich's Carlos Eduardo Sá.
