In the 45th minute, Edson Vides got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 47th minute of the match, Telmo Testa got a very nice opportunity to score, but Wesley Valladares was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Edinho da Fonseca showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arlindo Dante, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Moleque Mimado's zone, Gilvan Fernandes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wesley Valladares came out of the goal and Gilvan Fernandes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 67 minutes, Kauan de Andrade mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Moleque Mimado and the Oasis Esporte e Diversão players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Oasis Esporte e Diversão booed when Moleque Mimado was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kauan de Andrade didn't get a good kick on the ball. Wesley Valladares came out of the goal in the 71st minute to try and stop a shot by Oasis Esporte e Diversão's Iwo Klejnowski. But to his dismay, Iwo Klejnowski quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Moleque Mimado's Wesley Valladares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Telmo Testa in the 77th minute of play. Eugênio Macedo struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Wesley Valladares didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Oasis Esporte e Diversão. Wesley Valladares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Iwo Klejnowski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
