Spectators: 7500 (Terracing: 5626, Seating: 1725, VIP seats: 149) Monreal FC's Edu Cordeiro started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 6th minute, Tomas Mirones left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Irajá Atlético Clube fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. 9 minutes into the match, Monreal FC's goal looked a bit too open when Duarte Carneiro came free, but Nilton Koehler reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nilton Koehler came out of the goal in the 12th minute to try and stop a shot by Irajá Atlético Clube's Jânio Tavares. But to his dismay, Jânio Tavares quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. 19 minutes into the game, Irajá Atlético Clube's Duarte Carneiro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Nilton Koehler made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Nilton Koehler took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Mirones, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, Carlos Fernando Brito managed to get in a good position for a shot. Irajá Atlético Clube's supporters rose to their feet, but Carlos Fernando Brito was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nilton Koehler breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Tomas Mirones took the ball and in the 31 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nilton Koehler. Nilton Koehler dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. Nilton Koehler made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlos Fernando Brito in the 35th minute of play. Tomas Mirones received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Nilton Koehler tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 38th minute, Carlos Fernando Brito ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nilton Koehler was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. 42 minutes into the match, Monreal FC's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Mirones came free, but Nilton Koehler reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Duarte Carneiro in the 43rd minute of play forced Monreal FC's goalkeeper Nilton Koehler to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Monreal FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Irajá Atlético Clube were winning 0-5.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Carlos Fernando Brito stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Monreal FC's Nilton Koehler got control of the ball when Tomas Mirones tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jânio Tavares sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 63rd minute Carlos Fernando Brito shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nilton Koehler saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 65th minute, Irajá Atlético Clube's Tomas Mirones dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-6. Duarte Carneiro succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-7 in the 68th playminute. Nilton Koehler didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tomas Mirones went, in the 74th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-8 was the resulting score. In the 78th minute, Donato Camargo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Kang Qing Sha was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-8. Zé Carlos Carioca kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. Jaime Linares kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. 86 minutes in the game Romeu Moraes got a great opportunity which he missed by shooting outside the goal. 92 minutes into the match, Monreal FC's goalkeeper Nilton Koehler had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Carlos Fernando Brito. The crowd rose to their feet as Irajá Atlético Clube's Jânio Tavares slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Nilton Koehler. That made the score 1-9 after 94 minutes of play. 97 minutes into the match, Monreal FC's goal looked a bit too open when Duarte Carneiro came free, but Nilton Koehler reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the final whistle sounded Irajá Atlético Clube left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Monreal FC.
