Caco Antunes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valdomiro Vinhas in the 5th minute of play. In the 6th minute, Hílton Cearense left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Marrenchenko FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. In the 9th minute Valdomiro Vinhas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Caco Antunes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Caco Antunes came out of the goal in the 10th minute to try and stop a shot by Marrenchenko FC's Hílton Cearense. But to his dismay, Hílton Cearense quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Concetto Trombetta in the 15th minute of play forced Clube Atletico Guarulhos's goalkeeper Caco Antunes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Benjamim Terra made a fantastic save in the 17th minute, when Maicon da Rocha sent off a good shot on target. In the 19th match minute, Marrenchenko FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valdomiro Vinhas to maneuver through the defense. In the 21st match minute, Clube Atletico Guarulhos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Germano Neiva to maneuver through the defense. Caco Antunes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valdomiro Vinhas in the 23rd minute of the match. 27 minutes into the match, Clube Atletico Guarulhos's goal looked a bit too open when Concetto Trombetta came free, but Caco Antunes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hílton Cearense sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Caco Antunes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valdomiro Vinhas in the 40th minute of the match. Valdomiro Vinhas scored 0-4 in the 42nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Caco Antunes, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Caco Antunes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hílton Cearense in the 46th minute of the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Artur Loureiro to strike the kick off in the second half. Caco Antunes was out of position in the 55 minute of play, and Valdomiro Vinhas capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Valdomiro Vinhas really showed his touch with that goal: 0-5. After 58 played minutes Clube Atletico Guarulhos got a freekick which was hit by Maicon da Rocha. When Ismael Paraense fell near the penalty area in the 59th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Clube Atletico Guarulhos's protests and gave Ismael Paraense a yellow card for diving instead. Ismael Paraense hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hílton Cearense in the 60th minute of play forced Clube Atletico Guarulhos's goalkeeper Caco Antunes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 61st minute, Marrenchenko FC's Valdomiro Vinhas ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Caco Antunes. Caco Antunes yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-6. 65 minutes into the game, Hílton Cearense was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Marrenchenko FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Clube Atletico Guarulhos the free kick. In the 65th match minute, Marrenchenko FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hílton Cearense to maneuver through the defense. Hílton Cearense struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Caco Antunes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Marrenchenko FC. 68 minutes into the match, Marrenchenko FC's goal looked a bit too open when Maicon da Rocha came free, but Benjamim Terra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Caco Antunes came out of the goal in the 76th minute to try and stop a shot by Marrenchenko FC's Valdomiro Vinhas. But to his dismay, Valdomiro Vinhas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-8. Caco Antunes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Valdomiro Vinhas, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. Benjamim Terra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maicon da Rocha in the 97th minute of play. When the match was over Marrenchenko FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Clube Atletico Guarulhos throughout the match.
