The audience thought it was a sure goal in the 8th minute, when Garacicho's Edward Zywiec after having done a great run through the defense got himself free with Baltazar Quaresma in GKS KATOWICE's goal and fired away a shot, but it missed the goal by a fraction of an inch. 10 minutes into the game, Piotr Zalewski recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Baltazar Quaresma. Piotr Zalewski showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Piotr Zalewski in the 14th minute of play forced GKS KATOWICE's goalkeeper Baltazar Quaresma to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 16 minutes, Xavier Barahona mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Garacicho and the GKS KATOWICE players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 16th match minute, Garacicho was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Xavier Barahona to maneuver through the defense. Damazy Podwojski, 17 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. If Piotr Zalewski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Piotr Zalewski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Piotr Zalewski struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Baltazar Quaresma didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Garacicho. In the 42nd minute, GKS KATOWICE's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Piotr Zalewski fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post.

Piotr Zalewski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Baltazar Quaresma having to interfere. The supporters of Garacicho booed when GKS KATOWICE was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hieronim Mockiewicz didn't get a good kick on the ball. 55 minutes into the match, Piotr Zalewski notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of GKS KATOWICE's Baltazar Quaresma. Baltazar Quaresma was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 62nd minute, Hieronim Mockiewicz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Piotr Zalewski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Baltazar Quaresma having to interfere. If Piotr Zalewski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Garacicho's Maciej Watarz got a free kick in the 80th minute. When Piotr Zalewski came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Garacicho fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Piotr Zalewski couldn't finish the play. Piotr Zalewski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Baltazar Quaresma came out of the goal in the 95th minute to try and stop a shot by Garacicho's Piotr Zalewski. But to his dismay, Piotr Zalewski quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Garacicho fully deserved thier win.
