To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Inönü's İlkan Atasagun got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience was convinced that İlkan Atasagun's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Murat Selim Arıkhan was relentless in the 24th minute of the game. After 32 played minutes Cine got a freekick which was hit by Saip Berksu. Kadri Çırak fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gürcan Baran having to interfere. Saip Berksu succeeded in the game's 36th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-0. 40 minutes into the match, Cine's goal looked a bit too open when Ömer Rıza Nizami came free, but Murat Selim Arıkhan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cine's Murat Selim Arıkhan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ömer Rıza Nizami in the 45th minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

In the 69th minute Saip Berksu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gürcan Baran saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gürcan Baran showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Saip Berksu, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute.
