Seating: 2369, VIP seats: 206) Dansam Gift made the kick off and thus started the match. Dwight Eversley Bissambhar made an important save on a dangerous shot by Breogan Mejia in the 4th minute. Jamal Vidale received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Pirmin Lizaso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Colombia's Breogan Mejia slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Dwight Eversley Bissambhar. That made the score 1-0 after 11 minutes of play. In the 16th minute, Breogan Mejia got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a little luck, Trinidad & Tobago's Dwight Eversley Bissambhar got control of the ball when Breogan Mejia tried to sneak it across the goal line. Dwight Eversley Bissambhar made an important save on a dangerous shot by Breogan Mejia in the 24th minute. Colombia's Breogan Mejia got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some careless play in the Trinidad & Tobago defense, Breogan Mejia kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dwight Eversley Bissambhar. The Trinidad & Tobago fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dwight Eversley Bissambhar should have stopped the shot. 40 minutes into the match, Breogan Mejia notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Trinidad & Tobago's Dwight Eversley Bissambhar. Dwight Eversley Bissambhar was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 43rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Trinidad & Tobago's goalkeeper Dwight Eversley Bissambhar, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.
Colombia made a substitution. Ricardo Hoz replaced Breogan Mejia. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ricardo Hoz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Jamal Vidale kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Ricardo Hoz blasted a shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dwight Eversley Bissambhar having to make a save. Dwight Eversley Bissambhar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ricardo Hoz in the 56th minute of the match. Dwight Eversley Bissambhar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ricardo Hoz, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Dwight Eversley Bissambhar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ricardo Hoz in the 59th minute of the match. Austin Eves short, quick shot in the 60thth minute got Pirmin Lizaso to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 61 minutes into the game, Dansam Gift lined in a short shot 3-1 behind a frustrated Pirmin Lizaso. Colombia's Donio Velunza was substituted for Andy Johnson. Colombia made a substitution. Damian Vera replaced Ronaldo Viladrosa. In the 67th minute Ricardo Hoz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dwight Eversley Bissambhar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Damian Vera's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dwight Eversley Bissambhar was relentless in the 68th minute of the game. Dwight Eversley Bissambhar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ricardo Hoz, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. In the 73rd minute of the match Colombia got a corner. Trinidad & Tobago's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Bartolo Almonacid ran over to the corner to take the kick. 74 minutes into the match, Trinidad & Tobago's goal looked a bit too open when Ricardo Hoz came free, but Dwight Eversley Bissambhar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 75th minute the ball was on its way in behind Trinidad & Tobago's goalkeeper Dwight Eversley Bissambhar, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Colombia's Ricardo Hoz in the 78th minute got a chance for a shot 78th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 82ndth minute of the game Ricardo Hoz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Trinidad & Tobago's Dwight Eversley Bissambhar was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Dwight Eversley Bissambhar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ricardo Hoz in the 83rd minute of play. In the 84th minute Jamal Vidale shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pirmin Lizaso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Colombia fans' excitement grew in the 89th match minute when Colombia's Ricardo Hoz looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After a rather tough play, Trinidad & Tobago's Subhas Rahamut got a free kick in the 92nd minute. 95 minutes into the match, Trinidad & Tobago's goal looked a bit too open when Ricardo Hoz came free, but Dwight Eversley Bissambhar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 97th minute, Donio Velunza made a precise shot to the right of Dwight Eversley Bissambhar. Trinidad & Tobago's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-1. Colombia's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
