When Motta Futebol Clube's Lu Ladron in the 3rd minute got a chance for a shot 3rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Brazil's goalie prevented a goal. 13 minutes had been played when some careless play by Motta Futebol Clube's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Alberto Moraes was slow to take the kick. During this time Brazil's players had a chance to rest. A well done corner resulted in Leandro Heidemann drilling the ball in to score 1-0 behind Motta Futebol Clube's goalkeeper. Alysson Rezende showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lu Ladron in the 16th minute of the match. In the 19th minute, Maurinho Mendonça left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Brazil fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. 21 minutes into the match, Motta Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Aírton de Lima had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Leandro Heidemann. Alysson Rezende took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Válbson de Alcântara, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, Morales Moreira managed to get in a good position for a shot. Brazil's supporters rose to their feet, but Morales Moreira was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aírton de Lima breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Maurinho Mendonça came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the Brazil fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Maurinho Mendonça couldn't finish the play. In the 38th minute Artur Sabóia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alysson Rezende saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Brazil's Maurinho Mendonça got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Aírton de Lima came out of the goal in the 47th minute to try and stop a shot by Brazil's Morales Moreira. But to his dismay, Morales Moreira quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

Alysson Rezende showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lu Ladron in the 52nd minute of the match. Aírton de Lima showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Morales Moreira, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Motta Futebol Clube's Aírton de Lima played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Morales Moreira in the 57th minute of play. In the 59thth minute of the game Morales Moreira who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Motta Futebol Clube's Aírton de Lima was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Aírton de Lima showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Morales Moreira in the 65th minute of the match. In the 66th minute Morales Moreira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aírton de Lima saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 68 minutes into the match, Motta Futebol Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Morales Moreira came free, but Aírton de Lima reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Maurinho Mendonça received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Aírton de Lima tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Brazil made a substitution. Clayton Gol replaced Maurinho Mendonça. Dudu Hermes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 75th minute of the match, but Alysson Rezende made a huge save. The audience was convinced that Lu Ladron's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alysson Rezende was relentless in the 79th minute of the game. Alysson Rezende showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Válbson de Alcântara, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Motta Futebol Clube made a substitution. Yuri Carneiro replaced Paulão Favoretto. Motta Futebol Clube's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Juninho Aparecido in the 83rd minute. Yuri Carneiro made a great header on Motta Futebol Clube's corner, it was just that Brazil's Alysson Rezende managed to reach the ball for a save. Alysson Rezende made a fantastic save in the 86th minute, when Lu Ladron sent off a good shot on target. Aírton de Lima showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Denílson Tepedino in the 96th minute of the match. For all the effort they put into the match, the Motta Futebol Clube players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Brazil.
