In the 3rd minute Sven-Åke Granberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlos Germano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 4 minutes, Sven-Åke Granberg mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bennis and the Club Atlético Atlanta players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 4th match minute, Bennis was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sven-Åke Granberg to maneuver through the defense. Leonardo Jara showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edgard Barros in the 7th minute of the match. Carlos Germano made a fantastic save in the 11th minute, when Cai Cheng Sang sent off a good shot on target. Leonardo Jara made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abel Iban in the 13th minute of play. The supporters of Bennis booed when Club Atlético Atlanta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ciro Ferdinand didn't get a good kick on the ball. Club Atlético Atlanta's Carlos Germano proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save Club Atlético Atlanta from getting a goal against them. Cai Cheng Sang might have been able to make a better finish in the 19th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Carlos Germano. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cai Cheng Sang ran back to his position shaking his head. Cai Cheng Sang came free with the goalkeeper in the 19th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Carlos Germano could save by the left post. In the 20th minute Edgard Barros shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leonardo Jara saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Leonardo Jara showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edgard Barros, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. 23 minutes into the match, Cai Cheng Sang dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Carlos Germano, 2-0. In the 26th minute, Eerik Loide hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 28 played minutes Club Atlético Atlanta got a freekick which was hit by Severino Rojelio. Cai Cheng Sang scored 3-0 in the 29th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Carlos Germano, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Carlos Germano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cai Cheng Sang, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abel Iban in the 34th minute of play forced Bennis's goalkeeper Leonardo Jara to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 37 minutes of play, Bennis's Cai Cheng Sang made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Carlos Germano was left in no man's land by his defense there! Edgard Barros hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cai Cheng Sang in the 40th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Carlos Germano saved Club Atlético Atlanta from getting behind. Carlos Germano was out of position in the 42 minute of play, and Cai Cheng Sang capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Cai Cheng Sang really showed his touch with that goal: 5-0. Edgard Barros took the ball and in the 46 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Leonardo Jara. Leonardo Jara dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-1. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 5-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Sven-Åke Granberg to strike the kick off in the second half. Bennis's Lin Xuan Hai managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Severino Rojelio in the 51 minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cai Cheng Sang in the 54th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Carlos Germano prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 55 minutes into the match, Club Atlético Atlanta's goal looked a bit too open when Cai Cheng Sang came free, but Carlos Germano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 61st minute of the game. One of Club Atlético Atlanta:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Bennis:s goal. Club Atlético Atlanta's Carlos Germano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edwin Söderqvist in the 68th minute of play. Edwin Söderqvist recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Lin Xuan Hai fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlos Germano having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Bennis's Henrik Svartengren got a free kick in the 76th minute. After 78 minutes of play, Bennis's Edwin Söderqvist made it 7-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Carlos Germano was left in no man's land by his defense there! Carlos Germano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sven-Åke Granberg in the 80th minute of the match. Club Atlético Atlanta's Carlos Germano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edwin Söderqvist in the 85th minute of play. 88 minutes into the match, Club Atlético Atlanta's goal looked a bit too open when Sven-Åke Granberg came free, but Carlos Germano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bennis were awarded a corner in the 89th minute after Club Atlético Atlanta's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Lin Xuan Hai took the corner. In the 91st match minute, Bennis was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sven-Åke Granberg to maneuver through the defense. Carlos Germano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edwin Söderqvist in the 93rd minute of play. Edwin Söderqvist's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Carlos Germano read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 95th minute of play. Roy Vesterberg hit a great freekick 97 minutes into the match. For all the effort they put into the match, the Club Atlético Atlanta players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Bennis.
