Victor Popilean was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Eskil Ödman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Victor Popilean, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Eskil Ödman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cornel Nastac in the 16th minute of the match. Eskil Ödman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cornel Nastac, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Henning Magnusson who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 19thth minute tested the skills of Grigore Rânceanu when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The Wetterqvist Boys BK fans' excitement grew in the 19th match minute when Wetterqvist Boys BK's Henning Magnusson looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Henning Magnusson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Grigore Rânceanu having to interfere. 38 minutes into the game, Iordache Davidescu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Granicerul's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Wetterqvist Boys BK the free kick. Wetterqvist Boys BK's Eskil Ödman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gigel Boeru in the 42nd minute of play. In the 45th minute, Victor Popilean ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Eskil Ödman was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. After a rather tough play, Wetterqvist Boys BK's Robert Nässén got a free kick in the 48th minute. 49 minutes into the match, Wetterqvist Boys BK's goal looked a bit too open when Gigel Boeru came free, but Eskil Ödman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Victor Popilean to strike the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Granicerul getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Codrin Stroie hit a great ball. Grigore Rânceanu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Henning Magnusson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 56 played minutes Granicerul got a freekick which was hit by Iordache Ioneasa. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sebastian Larsson in the 64th minute of play forced Granicerul's goalkeeper Grigore Rânceanu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eskil Ödman made a fantastic save in the 71st minute, when Victor Popilean sent off a good shot on target. Eskil Ödman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Manole Colin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 74th minute, Granicerul's Manole Colin dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-2. After a rather tough play, Granicerul's Victor Popilean got a free kick in the 76th minute. Granicerul's Grigore Rânceanu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Östen Holmberg in the 79th minute of play. Stefan Nyman scored 2-2 in the 80th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Grigore Rânceanu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Henning Magnusson kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Wetterqvist Boys BK players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
