Falcão Cunha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Deng Yue Zhen, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. Petr Čech made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pedro Velloso in the 10th minute of play. Batalhão do Peçanha's Petr Čech played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Augusto Saldanha in the 14th minute of play. When Batalhão do Peçanha's Deng Yue Zhen in the 15th minute got a chance for a shot 15th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Gracie Barra's goalie prevented a goal. 22 minutes into the match, Batalhão do Peçanha's goal looked a bit too open when Pedro Velloso came free, but Petr Čech reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Deng Yue Zhen scored 1-0 in the 24th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Falcão Cunha, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Deng Yue Zhen in the 28th minute of play forced Gracie Barra's goalkeeper Falcão Cunha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Petr Čech took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pedro Velloso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gracie Barra's Olavo Costa quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Barr Eira, made in the 37th minute of the game. A collision led to Gracie Barra getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Olavo Costa hit a great ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Deng Yue Zhen kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Falcão Cunha. That made the score 2-0 in the 41 minute of play. With a little luck, Gracie Barra's Falcão Cunha got control of the ball when Deng Yue Zhen tried to sneak it across the goal line. 46 minutes into the game, Gracie Barra's Augusto Saldanha nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Petr Čech made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Augusto Saldanha stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Gracie Barra's Falcão Cunha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Deng Yue Zhen in the 57th minute of play. After 62 minutes, Pedro Velloso made it 3-2 with a short kick to the right side. Batalhão do Peçanha's Petr Čech tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Gracie Barra's Nilton Botelho was substituted for Pedro Velloso. Petr Čech made a fantastic save in the 71st minute, when Snorri De Hond sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Gracie Barra getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Şamil Sağman hit a great ball. Deng Yue Zhen's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Falcão Cunha read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 76th minute of play. Falcão Cunha came out of the goal in the 76th minute to try and stop a shot by Batalhão do Peçanha's Deng Yue Zhen. But to his dismay, Deng Yue Zhen quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-2. Gracie Barra's Falcão Cunha quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Barr Eira, made in the 79th minute of the game. Falcão Cunha showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Deng Yue Zhen in the 79th minute of the match. The supporters of Gracie Barra booed when Batalhão do Peçanha was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zézinho Veloso didn't get a good kick on the ball. Snorri De Hond blasted a shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Petr Čech having to make a save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Snorri De Hond got free with Petr Čech in the 84th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 85 minutes into the match, Batalhão do Peçanha's goalkeeper Petr Čech had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Snorri De Hond. 86 minutes had been played when some careless play by Batalhão do Peçanha's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Şamil Sağman was slow to take the kick. During this time Gracie Barra's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Şamil Sağman almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Batalhão do Peçanha's Petr Čech did a great save. 周挺勇 kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. In the 93rd minute of the match, Nilton Botelho tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Petr Čech saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 94th minute Deng Yue Zhen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Falcão Cunha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gracie Barra's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
