In the 13th minute, Victoriano Tartalo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Tequileros FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Abelardo da Fonseca sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 18 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Tequileros FC! Nicolas Mel was out of position in the 23 minute of play, and Cacá Mesquita capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. After a rather tough play, Tequileros FC's Genaro Lopes got a free kick in the 27th minute. In the 32nd match minute, Tequileros FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hipolito Errapel to maneuver through the defense. Inazuma Japan's Fabrício Félix got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With an all-out effort, Inazuma Japan's Nicolas Mel threw himself towards the right post 46 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Cacá Mesquita, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Cacá Mesquita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

A collision led to Inazuma Japan getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Bernardo Mesquita hit a great ball. Victoriano Tartalo was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 54th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Cacá Mesquita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nicolas Mel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cacá Mesquita, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. In the 65th minute, Cacá Mesquita made a precise shot to the right of Nicolas Mel. Tequileros FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. Tequileros FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Paulo Renato Paiva was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-1. There was no doubt that Inazuma Japan were the better team. Inazuma Japan's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
