With an extended leg and a bit of luck Vaggelis Lalas prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in São Miguel do Oeste.SC's zone, Evripidis Zoubadellis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Carlos Germano came out of the goal and Evripidis Zoubadellis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 27 minutes had been played when some careless play by YELLOW FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Almir Lago was slow to take the kick. During this time São Miguel do Oeste.SC's players had a chance to rest. Almir Lago made a great header on São Miguel do Oeste.SC's corner, it was just that YELLOW FC's Vaggelis Lalas managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 33rdth minute of the game Gustavo Scarpa who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but YELLOW FC's Vaggelis Lalas was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Delmar Luix made a kick off. The YELLOW FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
