Eurico Peixoto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Germano das Neves showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eurico Peixoto, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Eurico Peixoto managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ibis Football Club's supporters rose to their feet, but Eurico Peixoto was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Germano das Neves breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Luiz Fabiano Orange in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pedro Rosado saved Ibis Football Club from getting behind. Domingos Orange made in the 26th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Júnior Orange. After a defensive mix-up in Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ's zone, Eurico Peixoto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Germano das Neves came out of the goal and Eurico Peixoto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Ibis Football Club's Ennio Fallito got a free kick in the 36th minute. Ibis Football Club's Pedro Rosado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luiz Fabiano Orange in the 38th minute of play. In the 39th match minute, Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Domingos Orange to maneuver through the defense. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Domingos Orange got a throw-in 52 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Júnior Orange. Germano das Neves didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Eurico Peixoto went, in the 56th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. After a rather tough play, Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ's Luiz Fabiano Orange got a free kick in the 60th minute. Eurico Peixoto blasted a shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Germano das Neves having to make a save. Germano das Neves took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eurico Peixoto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pedro Rosado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rubens Cerezo in the 68th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eurico Peixoto in the 71st minute of play forced Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ's goalkeeper Germano das Neves to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ennio Fallito hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. 75 minutes in the game Domingos Orange did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Júnior Orange. Eurico Peixoto blasted a shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Germano das Neves having to make a save. If Eurico Peixoto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 79 minutes into the match, Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Eurico Peixoto came free, but Germano das Neves reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 80th minute Per-Oskar Nordstedt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Germano das Neves saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Germano das Neves showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amauri Lago in the 82nd minute of the match. The supporters of Ibis Football Club booed when Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcos Monteiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Germano das Neves showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Per-Oskar Nordstedt, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. For all the effort they put into the match, the Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Ibis Football Club.
