Spectators: 9853 (Terracing: 7150, Seating: 2487, VIP seats: 216) KOO Tigers's Robert Collen started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 4 minutes of play, KOO Tigers's Emin Bayram made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bican Lebib was left in no man's land by his defense there! The supporters of FC MIDWAY booed when KOO Tigers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rüştü Eldemir didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 9th play minute Edelmiro Senin came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Uğuralp Vasfi. 1-1. After 16 played minutes FC MIDWAY got a freekick which was hit by 尹亦瑜. Bican Lebib made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Xiao Yu Chao in the 22nd minute of play. In the 24th minute, Roberto-Carlos Björklund hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 25th minute of the match, Edelmiro Senin tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Uğuralp Vasfi saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Uğuralp Vasfi made an important save on a dangerous shot by 尹亦瑜 in the 27th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Robert Collen in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bican Lebib prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Roberto-Carlos Björklund hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edelmiro Senin in the 35th minute of play forced KOO Tigers's goalkeeper Uğuralp Vasfi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 40 played minutes KOO Tigers got a freekick which was hit by Xiao Yu Chao. Uğuralp Vasfi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edelmiro Senin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. KOO Tigers's Uğuralp Vasfi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 45th minute of the match, managed to save KOO Tigers from getting a goal against them. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Edelmiro Senin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 61 played minutes KOO Tigers got a freekick which was hit by Emin Bayram. KOO Tigers's Kudret Şükrü was substituted for Mickey Rothwell. After 63 played minutes KOO Tigers got a freekick which was hit by Emin Bayram. FC MIDWAY's Lemi Ateşoğlu managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Roberto-Carlos Björklund in the 65 minute of the game. The audience thought a goal was coming when Xiao Yu Chao got free with Bican Lebib in the 67th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The audience was convinced that Robert Collen's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bican Lebib was relentless in the 68th minute of the game. Bican Lebib took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Xiao Yu Chao, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Ömer Omerović fell near the penalty area in the 72nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC MIDWAY's protests and gave Ömer Omerović a yellow card for diving instead. Ron Staarman ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Ron Staarman almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but KOO Tigers's Uğuralp Vasfi did a great save. The KOO Tigers supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing KOO Tigers would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
