Rômulo de Almeida was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 16 minutes into the match, Nilson Paraibano notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of BlueLionesse's Andrei Azamfirei. Andrei Azamfirei was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 20th minute Daniel Alcântara shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andrei Azamfirei saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nicolae Bordeanu was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 22nd minute. BlueLionesse's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Rômulo de Almeida stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nicolae Bordeanu's shot from short distance in the 31st minute. Rômulo de Almeida showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alex Murgoci, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Irinel Gheondea kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Gil dos Santos managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rondinone F.C - FDFDF's supporters rose to their feet, but Gil dos Santos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Andrei Azamfirei breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 48th minute there was a penalty for Rondinone F.C - FDFDF. Daniel Alcântara stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Andrei Azamfirei. 2-2. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Rômulo de Almeida showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valeriu Iuzbașa in the 54th minute of the match. Nilson Paraibano blasted a shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Andrei Azamfirei having to make a save. Rondinone F.C - FDFDF's Falcão Marques was substituted for Nilson Paraibano. The audience thought a goal was coming when Róbson Prata got free with Andrei Azamfirei in the 67th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 74 minutes of play, BlueLionesse's Alex Murgoci made it 3-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rômulo de Almeida was left in no man's land by his defense there! With a little luck, BlueLionesse's Andrei Azamfirei got control of the ball when Róbson Prata tried to sneak it across the goal line. 86 minutes into the match, BlueLionesse's goal looked a bit too open when Róbson Prata came free, but Andrei Azamfirei reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Chicão Matos kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Andrei Azamfirei. That made the score 3-3 in the 90 minute of play. 94 minutes into the match, Róbson Prata dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Andrei Azamfirei, 3-4. Marcu Hagi might have been able to make a better finish in the 98th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rômulo de Almeida. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Marcu Hagi ran back to his position shaking his head. When the match was over Rondinone F.C - FDFDF could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than BlueLionesse throughout the match.
