Spectators: 10930 (Terracing: 8234, Seating: 2524, VIP seats: 172) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Mikolaj Degutis took the kick off in the first half of the match. Ferenc Puskás received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Kazimierz Kazanowski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Pragmáticos 1903 getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Thierry Henry hit a great ball. 9 minutes into the game, Vito Furlan threw the ball into play from the sideline. SS SuperSonics's Aleksander Kocieniewski quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. After a defensive mix-up in SS SuperSonics's zone, Thierry Henry stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kazimierz Kazanowski came out of the goal and Thierry Henry tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Kazimierz Kazanowski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ruud Gullit, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. The supporters of SS SuperSonics booed when Pragmáticos 1903 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ramón Silva didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bambang Bamba scored 0-1 in the 18th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Zé Carlos Britto, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 21st match minute, SS SuperSonics was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Teobald Jekot to maneuver through the defense. The crowd rose to their feet as Ferenc Puskás kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Kazimierz Kazanowski. That made the score 1-1 in the 26 minute of play. Ruud Gullit received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Kazimierz Kazanowski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 34th minute of the match, Ferenc Puskás got a very nice opportunity to score, but Kazimierz Kazanowski was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Pragmáticos 1903 were awarded a corner in the 35th minute after SS SuperSonics's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Ferenc Puskás took the corner. Herbert Brzakala tried to clear up in front of the goal, but didn't succeed and rather the ball rolled into the own goal to the right of a despaired Kazimierz Kazanowski. An unnecessary self made goal, 2-1 in the 35th minute. Zé Carlos Britto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mikolaj Degutis, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. 47 minutes into the game, Bambang Bamba cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Zé Carlos Britto was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Pragmáticos 1903 made a substitution. Renato de Azevedo replaced Vito Furlan. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Thierry Henry to strike the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Pragmáticos 1903's Zé Carlos Britto got control of the ball when Mikolaj Degutis tried to sneak it across the goal line. Herbert Brzakala hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. In the 59th minute, Thierry Henry ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Kazimierz Kazanowski was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2. A collision led to SS SuperSonics getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Antoni Jaktorowo hit a great ball. Pragmáticos 1903's attentive Walmyr Severo managed to snatch the ball when Antoni Jaktorowo made a throw-in in the 65th minute of the game. Thierry Henry fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kazimierz Kazanowski having to interfere. Zé Carlos Britto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bambang Bamba, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 69th minute Thierry Henry shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kazimierz Kazanowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 72nd minute of the match Pragmáticos 1903 got a corner. SS SuperSonics's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ferenc Puskás ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 74th minute, Ganga Banga left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SS SuperSonics fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-3. Ganga Banga took the ball and in the 89 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Zé Carlos Britto. Zé Carlos Britto dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-4. Tião Maia's late challenge caught a SS SuperSonics's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tião Maia helped the player get up and apologised. Tião Maia hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. SS SuperSonics's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
