Jarbas Quadros made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from James Batistuta in the 17th minute of play. Jarbas Quadros showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Löfgren, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. In the 42nd minute, Marquinhos Santos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A4p FC Gad's defense didn't have a chance, in the 45th minute, when Marquinhos Santos scored to the left of an out of position Glenn Fyfe, making the score, 1-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Marquinhos Santos was the one to do the kick off.
