Despite this Eduardo Martini quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The supporters of Minuim SS booed when Batalhão do Peçanha was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Christian Peixoto didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Deng Yue Zhen's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Eduardo Martini was relentless in the 17th minute of the game. Franco Milazzo scored 0-1 in the 32nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Petr Čech, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, Minuim SS's João Francisco Mendonça got a free kick in the 38th minute. Minuim SS's Eduardo Martini proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to save Minuim SS from getting a goal against them.

Eduardo Martini didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Deng Yue Zhen went, in the 56th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. With a little luck, Batalhão do Peçanha's Petr Čech got control of the ball when Franco Milazzo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Franco Milazzo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Minuim SS made a substitution. Aimar Alajaan replaced Marko Krumov. After a rather tough play, Batalhão do Peçanha's Vânderson Vasconcelos got a free kick in the 73rd minute. Batalhão do Peçanha's Epaminondas Baba managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by João Francisco Mendonça in the 74 minute of the game. Petr Čech showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Franco Milazzo, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. In the 82nd minute, Arnaldo Tróia got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 83 minutes into the match, Batalhão do Peçanha's goalkeeper Petr Čech had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Angelo Batista. Angelo Batistas short, quick shot in the 84thth minute got Petr Čech to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 88 minutes had been played when some careless play by Batalhão do Peçanha's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Daniel Travassos was slow to take the kick. During this time Minuim SS's players had a chance to rest. Angelo Batista recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. João Francisco Mendonça charged in rather forcefully in the 94th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed João Francisco Mendonça the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Batalhão do Peçanha's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
