In the 5th minute Lars-Erik Lindsten shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mikael Sjögren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lars-Erik Lindsten sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 7th minute Lars-Erik Lindsten shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mikael Sjögren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The throw-in from Jörn Hellsing in the 8th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Pil SK's Pelle Lindmark. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lars-Erik Lindsten in the 9th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mikael Sjögren prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Lars-Erik Lindsten blasted a shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mikael Sjögren having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lars-Erik Lindsten in the 11th minute of play forced Boomerang Bombers's goalkeeper Mikael Sjögren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lars-Erik Lindsten might have been able to make a better finish in the 21st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mikael Sjögren. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Lars-Erik Lindsten ran back to his position shaking his head. Mikael Sjögren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lars-Erik Lindsten, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 25th minute Lars-Erik Lindsten shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mikael Sjögren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lars-Erik Lindsten sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Lars-Erik Lindsten's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mikael Sjögren read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 29th minute of play. In the 32nd minute Lars-Erik Lindsten shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mikael Sjögren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mikael Sjögren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lars-Erik Lindsten in the 32nd minute of play. Arman Högström's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Harald Lindell read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 33rd minute of play. Billy Sundberg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Harald Lindell made a huge save. Harald Lindell made a fantastic save in the 47th minute, when Billy Sundberg sent off a good shot on target. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Lars-Erik Lindsten in the 54thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Mikael Sjögren, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Harald Lindell showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Henry Tolsson in the 62nd minute of the match. In the 63rd minute, one of Boomerang Bombers:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Boomerang Bombers. When the match had been going on for 64 minutes, Pil SK's Lars-Erik Lindsten got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Mikael Sjögren. Pil SK's Harald Lindell played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Billy Sundberg in the 68th minute of play. In the 70th minute of the match, Lars-Erik Lindsten got a very nice opportunity to score, but Mikael Sjögren was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 73rd minute, Henry Tolsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Henry Tolsson charged in rather forcefully in the 75th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Henry Tolsson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Mikael Sjögren made a fantastic save in the 77th minute, when Lars-Erik Lindsten sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Pil SK getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Pelle Lindmark hit a great ball. In the 81st minute Valentin Hägglund shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mikael Sjögren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jörn Hellsing made in the 82nd minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Michael Nyberg. Boomerang Bombers's Mikael Sjögren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lars-Erik Lindsten in the 85th minute of play. Lars-Erik Lindsten struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Mikael Sjögren didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pil SK. The Pil SK supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Pil SK would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
