DSK Dalir's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lisandro Leoiar was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. 23 minutes into the game, Titanes Mayas's Hipolito Txordon nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Pål Ljungberg made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Pål Ljungberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amado Dei, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 30 minutes into the match, DSK Dalir's goal looked a bit too open when Hipolito Txordon came free, but Pål Ljungberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pål Ljungberg stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hipolito Txordon's shot from short distance in the 33rd minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-5 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Hipolito Txordon was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st minute, one of DSK Dalir:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for DSK Dalir. In the 53rd minute there was a penalty for Titanes Mayas. Anastasio Pietro stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Pål Ljungberg. 0-6. Hipolito Txordon took the ball and in the 58 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pål Ljungberg. Pål Ljungberg dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-7. When the match had gone on for 64 minutes, Hipolito Txordon took a quick shot and it went in 0-8 without a chance for Pål Ljungberg to make any attempt to save it. 73 minutes into the game, Lisandro Leoiar recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Pål Ljungberg. Lisandro Leoiar showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-9. Hipolito Txordon who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 78thth minute tested the skills of Pål Ljungberg when he managed to save the team from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lisandro Leoiar in the 82nd minute of play forced DSK Dalir's goalkeeper Pål Ljungberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. DSK Dalir's Pål Ljungberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lisandro Leoiar in the 86th minute of play. Pål Ljungberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lisandro Leoiar in the 87th minute of the match. 89 minutes into the match, DSK Dalir's goal looked a bit too open when Lisandro Leoiar came free, but Pål Ljungberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Titanes Mayas's Lisandro Leoiar got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. DSK Dalir's Pål Ljungberg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 97th minute of the match, managed to save DSK Dalir from getting a goal against them.
