A nice corner shot did that Florentino Enetz got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Zaher Baroun quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the last second Delmar Jakes throw himself and got hold of the ball when Rashed Al Hadhod in the 34thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Saudi Arabia were awarded a corner in the 36th minute after Yo Soy Tu Padre's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Edrees Al Youha took the corner. Delmar Jakes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rashed Al Hadhod, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Khalefa Abo Al Hasan during the 45th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 46 played minutes Saudi Arabia got a freekick which was hit by Khalefa Abo Al Hasan. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

After a defensive mix-up in Saudi Arabia's zone, Nemesio Piorno stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zaher Baroun came out of the goal and Nemesio Piorno tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Zaher Baroun made a fantastic save in the 60th minute, when Elias Blasi sent off a good shot on target. Saudi Arabia's Zaher Baroun proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 62nd minute of the match, managed to save Saudi Arabia from getting a goal against them. 66 minutes into the game, Jarah Al Ammar was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Saudi Arabia's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Yo Soy Tu Padre the free kick. After 66 played minutes Saudi Arabia got a freekick which was hit by Jarah Al Ammar. Delmar Jakes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rashed Al Hadhod, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. After having played for 78 minutes, Rashed Al Hadhod managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Saudi Arabia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rashed Al Hadhod was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Saudi Arabia's Rajab Al Sohali was substituted for Rashed Al Hadhod. Yo Soy Tu Padre's Bernardino Obano was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Zaher Baroun in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Delmar Jakes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rajab Al Sohali in the 89th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Saudi Arabia's Khalefa Abo Al Hasan got a free kick in the 91st minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Elias Blasi got free with Zaher Baroun in the 92nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the match was over Yo Soy Tu Padre could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Saudi Arabia throughout the match.
