In the 7th minute, Rodriguinho Salgado ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonas Vander was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 12th minute, Rodriguinho Salgado left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Lencois fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Jonas Vander made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rodriguinho Salgado in the 19th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Daniel Salgado managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lencois's supporters rose to their feet, but Daniel Salgado was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonas Vander breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 23 minutes of play, Lencois's Rodriguinho Salgado made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonas Vander was left in no man's land by his defense there! Sidnei Mendonça made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when Alberto Costa sent off a good shot on target. 29 minutes into the match, MindHunter City's goal looked a bit too open when Rodriguinho Salgado came free, but Jonas Vander reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jonas Vander stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Daniel Salgado's shot from short distance in the 31st minute. After 32 minutes, Eugênio Barbosa made it 0-4 with a short kick to the right side. MindHunter City's Jonas Vander tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 37 minutes into the match, MindHunter City's goal looked a bit too open when Eugênio Barbosa came free, but Jonas Vander reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 39 minutes into the match, Rodriguinho Salgado had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jonas Vander. MindHunter City's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rodriguinho Salgado was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-5. Rodriguinho Salgado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonas Vander having to interfere. The supporters of Lencois booed when MindHunter City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. José Augusto Magalhães didn't get a good kick on the ball.

MindHunter City's Jonas Vander proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save MindHunter City from getting a goal against them. 57 minutes into the match, Daniel Salgado dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Jonas Vander, 0-6. After 60 minutes of play, Lencois's Rodriguinho Salgado made it 0-7 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonas Vander was left in no man's land by his defense there! Jonas Vander showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Salgado, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Rodriguinho Salgado received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Jonas Vander came out and tried to block the shot, but Rodriguinho Salgado slotted it home off the left post making it 0-8 in the 66th minute. In the 72nd match minute, MindHunter City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Willian Martins to maneuver through the defense. Jonas Vander made a fantastic save in the 73rd minute, when Roberto Severo sent off a good shot on target. After 74 played minutes MindHunter City got a freekick which was hit by Willian Martins. Lencois's Sidnei Mendonça played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Henrique Madureira in the 77th minute of play. 78 minutes into the game, Daniel Salgado was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Lencois's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave MindHunter City the free kick. After having played for 81 minutes, Daniel Salgado managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lencois's supporters crossed their fingers, but Daniel Salgado was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jonas Vander made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eugênio Barbosa in the 87th minute. 87 minutes into the game, Glauco Falcão was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. MindHunter City's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lencois the free kick. After a rather tough play, MindHunter City's Glauco Falcão got a free kick in the 87th minute. Maurício Velasco charged in rather forcefully in the 88th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Maurício Velasco the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Maurício Velasco hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. If Eugênio Barbosa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Lencois played a much better game than MindHunter City and deserved their victory. The MindHunter City players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
