Spectators: 159 (Terracing: 120, Seating: 36, VIP seats: 3) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Magno Moreira kicked off to start the match. In the 3rd match minute, Vila Zumbi - Férias was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Magno Moreira to maneuver through the defense. Dorival Travassos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elano Coutinho in the 4th minute of play. Vila Zumbi - Férias's Magno Moreira got a good chance for a goal in the 5th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 14th minute Magno Moreira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dorival Travassos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Geovanildo Mendi didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ronald Mc Donald went, in the 17th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ronald Mc Donald in the 21st minute of play forced Vila Zumbi - Férias's goalkeeper Geovanildo Mendi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Xande Xande took the ball and in the 24 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Geovanildo Mendi. Geovanildo Mendi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Vila Zumbi - Férias's Geovanildo Mendi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Albertinho Bertassi in the 28th minute of play. Geovanildo Mendi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ronald Mc Donald, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Alexandre Mendes hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. When Albertinho Bertassi, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 37 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Geovanildo Mendi was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Vila Zumbi - Férias were furious when Alexandre Mendes was red carded, 41 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 40th minute, one of Vila Zumbi - Férias:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Vila Zumbi - Férias. 42 minutes into the game, Ronald Mc Donald cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Geovanildo Mendi was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Ronald Mc Donald made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Agnaldo Amaral shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dorival Travassos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Xande Xande got free with Geovanildo Mendi in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 55th play minutes Ronald Mc Donald shot 0-4, a short shot which went by Geovanildo Mendi and just under the crossbar into goal. After a rather tough play, Átomo F.C.'s Luiz Fernando Cerezo got a free kick in the 63rd minute. In the 65th minute Vila Zumbi - Férias were awarded a corner. Magno Moreira went to the cornerflag to take it. A collision led to Vila Zumbi - Férias getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Ronaldo Meirelles hit a great ball. The supporters of Átomo F.C. booed when Vila Zumbi - Férias was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ronaldo Meirelles didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dorival Travassos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Agnaldo Amaral in the 75th minute of play. After 78 played minutes Vila Zumbi - Férias got a freekick which was hit by Fernandão Peixoto. Ronald Mc Donald could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 81st minute of the match, but Geovanildo Mendi made a huge save. With a little luck, Vila Zumbi - Férias's Geovanildo Mendi got control of the ball when Xande Xande tried to sneak it across the goal line. Geovanildo Mendi made a fantastic save in the 88th minute, when Xande Xande sent off a good shot on target. The Átomo F.C. players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
