The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Svetaslav Yanchyk was the one to do the kick off. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Stepan Firago prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Belarus succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though El Salvador had controlled the match.
