In the 97th minute, Monte Susanin left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The The Old Boys supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing The Old Boys would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
