Garfield Dream Team's Emilio Oterino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ivar Sundström in the 4th minute of play. Lope Graña hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. Favila Lesaca was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 14 minutes into the match. The supporters of EMALSAC F.C booed when Garfield Dream Team was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Favila Lesaca didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 15th minute of the match Olaf Horst shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Emilio Oterino showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ivar Sundström during the 24th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, EMALSAC F.C's Ivar Sundström got a free kick in the 24th minute. Beti Fonseca came out of the goal in the 29th minute to try and stop a shot by Garfield Dream Team's Bikendi Cerezal. But to his dismay, Bikendi Cerezal quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Garfield Dream Team's Bikendi Cerezal got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 43 minutes of play EMALSAC F.C's Ivar Sundström was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After 44 played minutes EMALSAC F.C got a freekick which was hit by Ivar Sundström. When Hanot Libran fell near the penalty area in the 47th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored EMALSAC F.C's protests and gave Hanot Libran a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to EMALSAC F.C getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Hanot Libran hit a great ball. Bikendi Cerezal blasted a shot towards the goal in the 49th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Beti Fonseca having to make a save.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Olaf Horst to make the kick off. Turi Arrillaga struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Emilio Oterino didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for EMALSAC F.C. EMALSAC F.C's Olaf Horst got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 62nd minute Turi Arrillaga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emilio Oterino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jerrold Delgado's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Emilio Oterino read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 77th minute of play. Natanael Belo charged in rather forcefully in the 79th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Natanael Belo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Natanael Belo hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. Emilio Oterino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Transito Sicilia in the 85th minute of the match. A collision led to Garfield Dream Team getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Maria Tesillo hit a great ball. The supporters of Garfield Dream Team booed when EMALSAC F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Olaf Horst didn't get a good kick on the ball. Garfield Dream Team's attentive Matxin Monsalve managed to snatch the ball when Transito Sicilia made a throw-in in the 95th minute of the game. 98 minutes into the game, EMALSAC F.C's Turi Arrillaga nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Emilio Oterino made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. The EMALSAC F.C players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
