After a rather tough play, Club Dep. Soc. Rodo's Danilo Mendonça got a free kick in the 4th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Isaias Jakue in the 8th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jeremy Avellana saved Club Dep. Soc. Rodo from getting behind. Sporting Buceo's Isaias Jakue managed to work through Club Dep. Soc. Rodo's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Isaias Jakue dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. 14 minutes into the game, Isaias Jakue cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Jeremy Avellana was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Club Dep. Soc. Rodo's attentive Celso Trasloseros managed to snatch the ball when Segundo Aureo made a throw-in in the 24th minute of the game. In the 26thth minute of the game Gasteiz Latorre who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sporting Buceo's Maximo Horquizar was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 27th minute of the match, Filimon Gamburtsev got a very nice opportunity to score, but Jeremy Avellana was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Jeremy Avellana didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 27th minute, which inside left pole to 2-0. 31 minutes into the match, Sporting Buceo's goal looked a bit too open when Gasteiz Latorre came free, but Maximo Horquizar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sporting Buceo were awarded a corner in the 39th minute after Club Dep. Soc. Rodo's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Yao Yan Sen took the corner. The corner led Sporting Buceo's Yao Yan Sen to fire away a dangerous shot which Jeremy Avellana despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isaias Jakue in the 42nd minute of play forced Club Dep. Soc. Rodo's goalkeeper Jeremy Avellana to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

The wind increased when Isaias Jakue made the kick off in the second half. Maximo Horquizar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anthon Öberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 56th match minute, Sporting Buceo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Juan Sartori to maneuver through the defense. Danilo Mendonça kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. After 71 minutes of play, Club Dep. Soc. Rodo's Anthon Öberg made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Maximo Horquizar was left in no man's land by his defense there! Isaias Jakue might have been able to make a better finish in the 81st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jeremy Avellana. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Isaias Jakue ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 81st minute Isaias Jakue shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jeremy Avellana saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Isaias Jakue sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 93 minutes into the match, Anthon Öberg had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Maximo Horquizar. Sporting Buceo's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Anthon Öberg was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-3. Anthon Öberg received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Maximo Horquizar came out and tried to block the shot, but Anthon Öberg slotted it home off the left post making it 2-4 in the 95th minute.
