Narciso Gerber's late challenge caught a Irundi EC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Narciso Gerber helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Floresta de Nottinghan's Narciso Gerber got a free kick in the 2nd minute. 9 minutes into the match, Lucas de Alcântara notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Irundi EC's Ulisses Motta. Ulisses Motta was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Glauco Veloso hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. Ulisses Motta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Baltazar Ceresso in the 17th minute of play. Floresta de Nottinghan's Lucas de Alcântara managed to work through Irundi EC's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Lucas de Alcântara dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. In the 21st minute, Lucas de Alcântara made a precise shot to the right of Ulisses Motta. Irundi EC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Lucas de Alcântara sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Baltazar Ceresso recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Lucas de Alcântara fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ulisses Motta having to interfere. Baltazar Ceresso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lucas de Alcântara in the 43rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ulisses Motta saved Irundi EC from getting behind.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Lucas de Alcântara to strike the kick off in the second half. After 55 minutes of play, Floresta de Nottinghan's Baltazar Ceresso made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ulisses Motta was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, Floresta de Nottinghan's Glauco Veloso got a free kick in the 59th minute. Ulisses Motta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lucas de Alcântara, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. 70 minutes into the game, Baltazar Ceresso cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Ulisses Motta was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Baltazar Ceresso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 75th match minute, Irundi EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edgar Mendes to maneuver through the defense. Floresta de Nottinghan's Hílton Monteiro got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 78 minutes of play, Floresta de Nottinghan's Baltazar Ceresso made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ulisses Motta was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 81stth minute of the game Baltazar Ceresso who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Irundi EC's Ulisses Motta was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 82nd minute, Lucas de Alcântara left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Floresta de Nottinghan fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Hílton Monteiro during the 85th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Irundi EC booed when Floresta de Nottinghan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hílton Monteiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match clock showed 89 minutes, the score became 8-0 when Lucas de Alcântara sped through Irundi EC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ulisses Motta. Lucas de Alcântara struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Ulisses Motta didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Floresta de Nottinghan. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Lucas de Alcântara managed to get in a good position for a shot. Floresta de Nottinghan's supporters rose to their feet, but Lucas de Alcântara was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ulisses Motta breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Floresta de Nottinghan fully deserved thier win.
