In the 13th minute Fernandão Andrade shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but José Pedro da Silveira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 39th minute, Fred Mello got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 41 minutes, Osmar Teixeira managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bonsucesso FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Osmar Teixeira was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. José Pedro da Silveira came out of the goal and Gerson Vasconcelos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Marcelinho Freire got his second yellow card in the match during the 72nd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After 72 played minutes SkillZone got a freekick which was hit by Marcelinho Freire. If Fabinho França had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Osmar Teixeira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Geovânio Vander having to interfere. In the 85th minute, Fabinho França got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a little luck, SkillZone's Geovânio Vander got control of the ball when Osmar Teixeira tried to sneak it across the goal line. 90 minutes into the game, Pedro de Amorim was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SkillZone's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bonsucesso FC the free kick. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 89th minute of the game. One of SkillZone:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Bonsucesso FC:s goal. SkillZone:s Geovânio Vander showed great skill when he stopped Filipe Varela:s penalty. Osmar Teixeira's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Geovânio Vander read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 93rd minute of play. 95 minutes into the match, SkillZone's goal looked a bit too open when Fabinho França came free, but Geovânio Vander reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. For all the effort they put into the match, the Bonsucesso FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for SkillZone.
