The audience was convinced that Giuseppe Netto's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Geovânio Vander was relentless in the 25th minute of the game. The supporters of Ibotirama FC booed when SkillZone was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcelinho Freire didn't get a good kick on the ball. 37 minutes into the match, SkillZone's goal looked a bit too open when Leonardo Severo came free, but Geovânio Vander reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 75th minute, Téo Matorin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. SkillZone's Fernandão Andrade got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Kauã Guerra recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Leonardo Severo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Geovânio Vander took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kauã Guerra, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, SkillZone's Geovânio Vander got control of the ball when Leonardo Severo tried to sneak it across the goal line.
