Bebeto Tande fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Augusto Porta having to interfere. In the 11th minute of the match Rafael Lucas sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Augusto Porta skillfully saved the ball. After having played for 12 minutes, Bebeto Tande managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Serial Killers EC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bebeto Tande was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Serial Killers EC's Bebeto Tande got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Augusto Porta took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bebeto Tande, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 22nd minute, Elivélton Ribeiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 26th match minute, Quixelo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by João Vítor Freitas to maneuver through the defense. 28 minutes into the game, Bebeto Tande recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Augusto Porta. Bebeto Tande showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. With his leg Augusto Porta managed to avoid a goal in the 33rdth minute, when Serial Killers EC's Bebeto Tande fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Adão Candal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dudu Torres having to interfere. 46 minutes into the game, Bebeto Tande lined in a short shot 3-0 behind a frustrated Augusto Porta. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Luís Guilherme Penha to make the kick off. After 52 minutes, Nilmar Matorin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Serial Killers EC and the Quixelo players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 52nd match minute, Serial Killers EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nilmar Matorin to maneuver through the defense. Serial Killers EC's Dudu Torres proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save Serial Killers EC from getting a goal against them. After 56 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Serial Killers EC! Ernani Madureira hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Quixelo's zone, Nilmar Matorin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Augusto Porta came out of the goal and Nilmar Matorin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ernani Madureira hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. 71 minutes into the game, Serial Killers EC's Nilmar Matorin nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Augusto Porta made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. In the 75th minute Bebeto Tande shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Augusto Porta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Augusto Porta took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bebeto Tande, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rafael Lucas hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. Luís Guilherme Penha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dudu Torres having to interfere. Quixelo's Augusto Porta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bebeto Tande in the 95th minute of play. In the 97th minute of the match Serial Killers EC got a corner. Quixelo's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Rafael Lucas ran over to the corner to take the kick. Serial Killers EC's Rafael Lucas was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Augusto Porta in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Bebeto Tande received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 98th minute. Augusto Porta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. For all the effort they put into the match, the Quixelo players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Serial Killers EC.
