In the 10th minute Sílvio Luís Simão shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Geovânio Vander saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Baltazar Dionísio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 14th minute, Gerson Vasconcelos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gerson Vasconcelos's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Amadeu Corrêa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 19th minute of play. Geovânio Vander showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sílvio Luís Simão, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. In the 28th minute, Marcelinho Freire got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Baltazar Dionísio came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the Parisi EC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Baltazar Dionísio couldn't finish the play. Geovânio Vander showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sílvio Luís Simão, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. Amadeu Corrêa came out of the goal and Fernandão Andrade tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 96 minutes into the match, Gerson Vasconcelos had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Amadeu Corrêa. Parisi EC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gerson Vasconcelos was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
