After having played for 3 minutes, Leonardo Severo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ibotirama FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leonardo Severo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ronaldo Duarte hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. Luís Guilherme Penha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elano Salles having to interfere. 11 minutes into the match, Leonardo Severo notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Quixelo's Augusto Porta. Augusto Porta was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 19th match minute, Ibotirama FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kauã Guerra to maneuver through the defense. The referee felt a red card was in order, 21 minutes into the game, when Cauan Castro put in a rough tackle. In a very dangerous position, a player in Quixelo fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 21st minute. Penalty! When the match had been going on for 24 minutes, Ibotirama FC's Edmundo Dionísio got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Augusto Porta. In the 28th minute José Carlos Lago shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Augusto Porta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 32nd match minute, Ibotirama FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cauan Ribeiro to maneuver through the defense. Adão Candal blasted a shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Elano Salles having to make a save. Augusto Porta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kauã Guerra, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. With a little luck, Quixelo's Augusto Porta got control of the ball when Leonardo Severo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Leonardo Severo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 40th minute of the match, but Augusto Porta made a huge save. 44 minutes into the match, Quixelo's goalkeeper Augusto Porta had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Leonardo Severo. 45 minutes into the game, Leonardo Severo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Augusto Porta was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Kauã Guerra was the one to do the kick off. Augusto Porta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leonardo Severo in the 52nd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Quixelo's Tiago Veloso got a free kick in the 55th minute. In the 57th minute Leonardo Severo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Augusto Porta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Leonardo Severo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Augusto Porta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leonardo Severo in the 61st minute of play forced Quixelo's goalkeeper Augusto Porta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Quixelo's Valdir de Souza got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Quixelo booed when Ibotirama FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. José Carlos Lago didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Leonardo Severo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Quixelo's Augusto Porta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kauã Guerra in the 75th minute of play. Augusto Porta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kauã Guerra in the 79th minute of play. Kauã Guerra's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Augusto Porta read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 81st minute of play. José Carlos Lago charged in rather forcefully in the 86th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed José Carlos Lago the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 87th match minute, Ibotirama FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kauã Guerra to maneuver through the defense. In the 89th minute, Leonardo Severo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ibotirama FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. Ibotirama FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Quixelo for a fine match.
