Seating: 1652, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Rodolfo Souza made the kick off which started today's match. Jairo Falcão made a fantastic save in the 3rd minute, when Frederico Bezerra sent off a good shot on target. In the 4th minute, Quirinopolis's Rodolfo Souza dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. After 7 played minutes Quirinopolis got a freekick which was hit by Paulo Antunes. In the 8th minute, Manfredo Porto got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gualter Leão received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. José Paraibano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Manfredo Porto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Helmet HC booed when Quirinopolis was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paulo Antunes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Manfredo Porto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. José Paraibano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ismael Mazza in the 26th minute of play. 31 minutes into the match, Helmet HC's Manfredo Porto sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that José Paraibano narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 34th minute, Frederico Bezerra got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Quirinopolis booed when Helmet HC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abel Correia didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 40th of the match, Rodolfo Souza tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Jairo Falcão got in the way and made a wonderful save. 43 minutes into the match, Helmet HC's goal looked a bit too open when Rodolfo Souza came free, but Jairo Falcão reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jairo Falcão made an important save on a dangerous shot by Frederico Bezerra in the 45th minute.
After a rather tough play, Helmet HC's Benjamin Carneiro got a free kick in the 54th minute. Rodolfo Souza struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Jairo Falcão didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Quirinopolis. After 58 minutes of play, Quirinopolis's Frederico Bezerra made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jairo Falcão was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Manfredo Porto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Quirinopolis's José Paraibano proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 62nd minute of the match, managed to save Quirinopolis from getting a goal against them. Clóvis Martins fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without José Paraibano having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Helmet HC's Manfredo Porto slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of José Paraibano. That made the score 2-1 after 66 minutes of play. In the 75th minute, Rodolfo Souza ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jairo Falcão was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. Frederico Bezerra received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Jairo Falcão tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rodolfo Souza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 4-1 became the score in the 83rd minute when Frederico Bezerra elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. If Rodolfo Souza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
