Artur Paranaense could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 4th minute of the match, but Paulão Novaes made a huge save. Dráusio Vergílio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Lukasz Furgal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Toninho Arruda fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lukasz Furgal having to interfere. Cauan Cordeiro struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Lukasz Furgal didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Picada. After a defensive mix-up in Chelsea's zone, Cauan Cordeiro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lukasz Furgal came out of the goal and Cauan Cordeiro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Zé Pedro Cerezo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Lukasz Furgal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Zé Pedro Cerezo hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. In the 29th minute, Toninho Arruda left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Picada fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. 34 minutes into the match, Chelsea's goal looked a bit too open when Toninho Arruda came free, but Lukasz Furgal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Luciano Donato had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Chelsea's Lukasz Furgal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luciano Donato in the 39th minute of play. Paulão Novaes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Enrique Sampaio in the 41st minute of the match. When Gilmar Catarinense fell near the penalty area in the 46th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Chelsea's protests and gave Gilmar Catarinense a yellow card for diving instead. The Chelsea players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Picada were winning 0-2.

The wind increased when Toninho Arruda made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Toninho Arruda left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Picada fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. In the 63rd match minute, Chelsea was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gilmar Catarinense to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Picada getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Dráusio Vergílio hit a great ball. Paulão Novaes came out of the goal in the 67th minute to try and stop a shot by Chelsea's Gilmar Catarinense. But to his dismay, Gilmar Catarinense quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. Lukasz Furgal had great luck who in the 70thth minute grab hold of the ball when Toninho Arruda from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Toninho Arruda in the 74th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lukasz Furgal saved Chelsea from getting behind. Luciano Donato received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Lukasz Furgal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luciano Donato recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a little luck, Chelsea's Lukasz Furgal got control of the ball when Toninho Arruda tried to sneak it across the goal line. Cauan Cordeiro struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. A sloppy throw-in by Bruninho Vides in the 85th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Picada's Zé Pedro Cerezo. Toninho Arruda was extremely unlucky when he, in the 86th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. The supporters of Chelsea booed when Picada was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adriano Gaspar didn't get a good kick on the ball. Picada's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
