Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Helmet HC reached it. Manfredo Porto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dito Simão having to interfere. Wanderson Loureiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jairo Falcão having to interfere. Gualter Leão charged in rather forcefully in the 95th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gualter Leão the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 95th minute, Gualter Leão hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 96th minute the ball was on its way in behind Helmet HC's goalkeeper Jairo Falcão, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Deliciosa's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
