In the 11th minute Giovani Miranda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mateus Tavares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 15 minutes into the match, Deliciosa's goal looked a bit too open when Paulo Mazza came free, but Dito Simão reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paulo Mazza in the 36th minute of play forced Deliciosa's goalkeeper Dito Simão to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Giovani Miranda to strike the kick off in the second half. Giovani Miranda recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Sílvio Gerber managed to get in a good position for a shot. Deliciosa's supporters rose to their feet, but Sílvio Gerber was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mateus Tavares breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Deliciosa's Giovani Miranda in the 55th minute got a chance for a shot 55th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Anselmo Cearense kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. Mateus Tavares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sílvio Gerber in the 70th minute of the match. 73 minutes into the match, Deliciosa's goalkeeper Dito Simão had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Paulo Mazza. Paulo Mazza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Dito Simão tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 79th minute Sílvio Gerber shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mateus Tavares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mateus Tavares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Giovani Miranda, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 88th match minute, MAXiminos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Renan Azevedo to maneuver through the defense. 89 minutes into the game, Deliciosa's Sílvio Gerber nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mateus Tavares made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. 93 minutes into the match, Deliciosa's goal looked a bit too open when Laerte Paes came free, but Dito Simão reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in MAXiminos's zone, Giovani Miranda stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mateus Tavares came out of the goal and Giovani Miranda tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
