Paulão Novaes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Laerte Paes in the 8th minute of the match. Paulão Novaes made an important save on a dangerous shot by Paulo Mazza in the 16th minute. In the 20th minute, Zé Pedro Cerezo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some careless play in the Picada defense, Paulo Mazza kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Paulão Novaes. The Picada fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Paulão Novaes should have stopped the shot. Anselmo Cearense kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. When Picada's Toninho Arruda in the 31st minute got a chance for a shot 31st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye MAXiminos's goalie prevented a goal. Cauan Cordeiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of MAXiminos booed when Picada was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cesinha Borges didn't get a good kick on the ball.

The wind increased when Toninho Arruda made the kick off in the second half. Laerte Paes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Paulão Novaes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Paulão Novaes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paulo Mazza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Paulão Novaes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Laerte Paes in the 63rd minute of the match. After 64 minutes, Dráusio Vergílio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Picada and the MAXiminos players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 65 played minutes Picada got a freekick which was hit by Dráusio Vergílio. Raúl Pombal kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. The supporters of MAXiminos booed when Picada was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carlos Augusto de Carvalho didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Picada's Cauan Cordeiro got a free kick in the 80th minute. In the 83rd minute of the match Dário Vidal shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Paulão Novaes showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Picada's Cauan Cordeiro got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Paulão Novaes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Laerte Paes in the 91st minute of the match. If Cauan Cordeiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Toninho Arruda might have been able to make a better finish in the 94th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mateus Tavares. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Toninho Arruda ran back to his position shaking his head. The MAXiminos support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
