Spectators: 7203 (Terracing: 5404, Seating: 1656, VIP seats: 143) Waldir Castro started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Dedê Cabral kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. After 5 played minutes Quatinga FC got a freekick which was hit by Simão Lara. 11 minutes into the game, Arnaldo Palmeira was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Quatinga FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Condus the free kick. In the 11th minute, Arnaldo Palmeira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 13th minute, Chico da Costa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Quatinga FC's Waldir Castro got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rafa Baiano made an important save on a dangerous shot by Carlinhos Cordeiro in the 26th minute. Waldir Castro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gualter Reis having to interfere. Gualter Reis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Waldir Castro in the 33rd minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Carlinhos Cordeiro got free with Rafa Baiano in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If José Augusto Pinho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 46th play minute Aírton Sousa came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Rafa Baiano. 1-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Aírton Sousa to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, José Augusto Pinho ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gualter Reis was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. José Augusto Pinho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Silvinho Penha fell near the penalty area in the 58th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Condus's protests and gave Silvinho Penha a yellow card for diving instead. After 58 played minutes Condus got a freekick which was hit by Silvinho Penha. After a defensive mix-up in Condus's zone, Waldir Castro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gualter Reis came out of the goal and Waldir Castro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Condus's Gualter Reis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Waldir Castro in the 68th minute of play. A collision led to Condus getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Dedê Cabral hit a great ball. 71 minutes into the match, Quatinga FC's Váldson Mazza broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. If Aírton Sousa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 78th minute, Carlinhos Cordeiro made a precise shot to the right of Rafa Baiano. Quatinga FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Rafa Baiano came out of the goal in the 84th minute to try and stop a shot by Condus's Dedê Cabral. But to his dismay, Dedê Cabral quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. After some careless play in the Condus defense, José Augusto Pinho kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gualter Reis. The Condus fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gualter Reis should have stopped the shot. After 94 minutes, Carlinhos Cordeiro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Condus and the Quatinga FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Condus's Carlinhos Cordeiro got a free kick in the 95th minute. Condus were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Quatinga FC for a fine match.
