With his leg Clóvis Motta managed to avoid a goal in the 10thth minute, when SK TIORO's Igor Birkenhagen fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 14th minute, João Adolfo Coelho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Oscar Cardozo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Independência Futebol's Lino de Toledo got a free kick in the 26th minute. The supporters of SK TIORO booed when Independência Futebol was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dorian Torres didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Independência Futebol getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Adalberto Cabral hit a great ball. Moise Caranfil recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Independência Futebol's defense didn't have a chance, in the 36th minute, when Przemyslaw Major scored to the left of an out of position Clóvis Motta, making the score, 2-0. With a little luck, Independência Futebol's Clóvis Motta got control of the ball when Igor Birkenhagen tried to sneak it across the goal line. Independência Futebol's Clóvis Motta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Przemyslaw Major in the 47th minute of play. Clóvis Motta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Moise Caranfil in the 48th minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

After a defensive mix-up in Independência Futebol's zone, Igor Birkenhagen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Clóvis Motta came out of the goal and Igor Birkenhagen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Clóvis Motta stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Igor Birkenhagen's shot from short distance in the 56th minute. In the 62nd minute, João Adolfo Coelho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Moise Caranfil managed to get in a good position for a shot. SK TIORO's supporters rose to their feet, but Moise Caranfil was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Clóvis Motta breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the match clock showed 69 minutes, the score became 3-0 when Igor Birkenhagen sped through Independência Futebol's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Clóvis Motta. Mário Cardoso charged in rather forcefully in the 80th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mário Cardoso the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Independência Futebol's Mário Cardoso got a free kick in the 81st minute. In the 84th minute, Igor Birkenhagen left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SK TIORO fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. In the 87th minute, Olívio Vargas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Igor Birkenhagen in the 90th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Clóvis Motta prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Olívio Vargas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. SK TIORO's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
